I was just working through some career trajectory goals with my roommate and felt severely “I just don’t know and I don’t know how to get wherever it is I want to be.” I realized I wanted the quick fix to get me over this feeling, but these decisions take time to work through to get to the answer. Great stuff, courage isn’t easy to come by.

My mom is a retired elementary reading teacher and a children’s literature adjunct instructor at my hometown’s community college. I grew up surrounded by books, the importance of a well-done children’s book, the ability to spark imagination. My favorite books were some of Maurice’s.
